Bloomfield student is essay contest winner

Bloomfield Elementary School fifth-grader Grant
participated in the "AARP Kentucky Grandparent
of the Year" essay contest. His essay was chosen
as the first place winner from the school and in
Nelson County. Grant received a $25 savings bond
from Town & Country Bank and Trust. This contest
is administered by the Kentucky Retired Teachers
Association and is open to any fifth-grader enrolled
in a public school.
