District offers MealpayPlus service

Staff Report

The Nelson County School District is happy to announce the availability of MealpayPlus, an online or telephone-based system families can use to purchase and monitor students’ cafeteria meals.

Parents can create an account for their student by visiting www.mealpayplus.com or calling toll free (866) 286-8756. Secure meal payments can be set up using a credit card, debit card or check. Parents can request an e-mail notification when accounts need to be replenished, or they may setup automatic payments for when the account balance drops below a minimum amount.

Another advantage to using MealpayPlus is the ability to monitor student food choices.

To set up an account, parents will need the ID number of each student for whom they will be paying or monitoring. If they do not know the ID number, parents should call interim food service director Charlotte Lewis at (502) 349-7000, extension 2327.
